Gujrat Election Results 2024: Finally, the first win for the Opposition in Gujrat happened after 2014 as Geniben Thakor won the Banaskantha seat in Gujrat. Bharatiya Janata Party has maintained its leading in 24 seats in Gujarat. The Union Home Minister Amit Shah has won in Gandhinagar whereas on the other side, the BJP State President C.R. Patil is leading in Navsari. The Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya is currently leading Porbandar.

There are many shocking surprises in the Gujrat Election Results 2024. The PM Narendra Modi’s home state and main base of BJP is Gujrat. The BJP won all the 26 Lok Sabha seats in Gujrat at the time of general elections in 2014 and 2019 both. But Aam Aadmi Party has made some major strides in Gujrat where it is contesting two seats this term. Today, 25 seats will be declared as BJP candidate Mukesh Dalal has won unopposed in Surat after all other candidates dropped out of the Lok Sabha election race.

Geniben Thakor Wins from Banaskantha

Congress candidate Geniben Thakor has officially won from Banaskatha in Gujrat. This has happened for the first time that the opposition party has won a Lok Sabha seat in Gujrat after 2014. Thakor defeated Dr. Rekhaben Hiteshbhai Chaudhari by a margin of about 2.8 votes.

Congress Leading In Only One Seat, BJP In 24 Seats

As per the reports, the biggest shocking surprise is that Cingress is just leading only in one seat in Gujrat whereas on the other hand, BJP is leading 24 seats. The INC Chandanji Thakor has taken a lead over ex-Lok Sabha member Bharatsinjhi Dabhi by a margin of 15505 votes.

Counting Underway In Gujrat

Currently counting started in Gujrat with 25 Lok Sabha seats. The 26th seat is already leading by Mukesh Dalal who was elected unopposed after all other nominees dropped out of the Gujrat Lok Sabha Elections.
